Here are lots of ideas for those with younger children. Jubilee Playground TenbyThis is the Jubilee Play Park (reopened 2012) in the heart of Tenby overlooking the South Beach. It also contains a skate park. The perfect place to sit and admire the view while the children enjoy themselves.

Beach Riding Nolton Stables

Nolton Stables is superbly located to offer spectacular beach riding, as well as hacks through visually dramatic coastal fields and their own private, woodland valley. Day visitors and beginners welcome (ages 4 years up).

Blue Lagoon Water Park

Blue Lagoon is an exciting indoor water park with a whole host of activities for all ages, including waves. There are rapids which take you outside, slides which twist and turn (two in darkness!) as well as the lazy river for the more serene approach.

Buzzard Chris Bushcraft

Buzzard Chris Bushcraft is tucked away in a  secluded ancient woodland in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. It is very near Cresswell quay and the river and close to all the stunning  landscapes,  habitats and coastline that Pembrokeshire is famous for. If you are looking for a woodland experience or adventure during a holiday break or an alternative activity, then Chris offers bushcraft courses to suit adults, children and families.

Caldey Island

A fleet of boats run to Caldey Ialnd from Tenby Harbour, every day except Sunday, throughout the summer months, weather permitting. Tickets can be bought from the relevant booth on the harbour.

Carew Castle

The magnificent Carew Castle has a history spanning 2,000 years. Set in a stunning location, overlooking a 23-acre millpond, the castle displays the development from a Norman fortification to an Elizabethan country house.

Clerkenhill Adventure Farm

Enjoy the exciting adventure trail through the woodlands and experience swings, slides, play areas and tube tunnel slides, pedal go karts and a tractor track. Undercover play for wet days as well as a cafe. Entrance price now inclues 18 holes of Frizbee Golf - like golf but with frizbees thrown into baskets! Fun for all ages!

Following the pattern of previous years as advised by the Chairman of the Tenby Round Table the Tenby Summer Spectaculars have now been added to the Events pages of the Tenby Visitor Guide http://www.tenbyvisitorguide.co.uk/Flat/ These are always weather dependent and subject to change - this is out of my remit!
