Surfing

This may be nearly an hour from Tenby but here you can take surfing lessons with Pete Bounds, ex British team captain with 25 years experience. Courses for beginners, improvers and kids as well as family sessions.

Swallow Tree Gardens

This is a 5* family run park with luxury pine lodges and caravans, just outside of Tenby yards from the beach.

The superb leisure facilities include a large indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and solarium  as well as an Elemis Spa offering manicures, pedicures, massages amongst many other treatments.

Tenby & District Angling Club

For information about angling in the Tenby area contact Nev Andrews at the Tenby & District Angling Club - a friendly Sea Angling Club based in Tenby, West Wales with members from all over South Pembrokeshire. They currently have 45 paid up members which includes 10 juniors.

Tenby Golf Club

Established in 1875, this is the oldest affiliate club in Wales and one of the finest links courses in the UK. Visitors are warmly welcomed and can enjoy the relaxed club house, complete with food, drink, snooker and Sky Sport.

Tenby Historical Society

Tenby Historical Society hosts talks on topics of general and local historical interest. Visitors are always welcome. Details of the current programme and articles on local history are available on their website.

 

Tenby Leisure Centre

Tenby Leisure Centre has grown from being just a swimming pool to one of the town's most popular facilities with a sports hall facilitating 6 badminton courts, football, volleyball and hockey amongst others, as well as a dance studio, fitness suite and cafe.

Tenby Lifeboat Station

Tenby Lifeboat Station was the first station in the world to recieve the most advanced lifeboat - the Tamar. Entry is free where you can learn all about the history of the RNLI as well as examine the "Haydn Miller" up close!

Tenby Museum and Art Gallery

Housed in part of the remains of Tenby Castle, the Museum looks deceptively small but has six spacious galleries as well as a cafe, gift shop and toilet. There are permanent exhibitions as well as guest exhibitions. This is a great way to learn about Tenby's history.   

Tenby Sea Fishing

Tenby Sea Fishing offers a range of boat trips aboard the "MV Triton" which is an 11 metre catamaran with a 270degree fishing deck, trained skippers as well as toilet and refreshment facilities. Mackerel, bass & bait fishing.
