Penally

Just a mile or two from Tenby, Penally is a small, pretty hillside village overlooking Tenby's gold club. It has a variety of campsites as well as the luxurious Penally Abbey Hotel, a couple of pubs and a village shop. This is a quieter village to the busy bustle of Tenby. This is also the home of Trefloyne Golf Course and the Ritec Valley Quad Bikes.

There is the 13th century church of St Nicholas home to the memorial dedicated to the crew of the Tenby lifeboat which capsized in 1834. There is also an army base (with links back to the mid 19th century when land was leased from the Picton estate to build a firing range).
