Twelve miles from Tenby is Pembroke - well known for it's magnificent castle - the birthplace of Henry VII with spectacular views across the county from its famous keep. Pembroke Castle is a good family day out and often has events on to attract families.

Pembroke is a market town with a wide selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurant and also some interesting architecture from Tudor to Georgian. A popular beauty spot is Mill Pond due to the variety of birds it attracts as well as being peaceful.

In 1977 Pembroke was designated an outstanding Conservation Area.
